Since I've been wanting to try different Linux distros (I've been running Peppermint on all of my Linux machines since Peppermint Two), I went ahead and installed CrunchBang as well... booted into CrunchBang, WiFi worked ootb, rebooted, booted into Peppermint, and now my WiFi is working! Everything is checking out across both distros! Thank you so much for all your time & help! :)
