i have tried dvd styler but for some reason it does not use all the video files and i know i can use devede but i would have to change the bit rates it was recorded in,any ideas would be most grateful.

I like Gnomebaker. It does it all very well. Ubuntu doesn't use it anymore, but it can be gotten by searching Google for a .deb version, and adding the ppa to your repositories.

Downloading from that Ubuntu PPA for Oneiric (11.10) is not necessary .. gnomebaker is in the software repos ?

all you need to do to install it is open a terminal and run:
Quote:
sudo apt-get install gnomebaker

I thought it was dropped from the Ubuntu repositories, but maybe that is the later ones? I was on wattOS at the time, and didn't see it there.
