is there a command(s) that you can use to return the desktop to an as first installed state or is it just as easy to re-install

I would prefer to adduser and then visudo over a re-install.
Code:
man adduser
Code:
man visudo
or consult the Google. A new user will revert to default desktop.
But, I detest re-installs. Opinions/preferences vary.
