For some extra 'Cloud Space' This may be of interest.......

http://www.webupd8.org/2011/10/owncloud-2-your-personal-cloud-server.html

....just started using this because it allows for unlimited 'Cloud' space without a great deal of fuss...may be of interest to Peppermint Users :o

This isn't new and I must admit to being something less than an expert but it werks!

*I took the liberty of moving this to the appropriate area. oldrong

Nice find, plumtreed, I'll have to check it out. Thanks.

I would suggest following the Webupd8 install cos it is latest version........also offers a comfortable howto.

I installed owncloud follwing the instructions on Webupd8 (the link above) and it went off without a hitch. I also installed nautilus to use webDAV. Everything works fine. The only glitch is that you lose Peppermint Dropbox. However, you can install nautilus-dropbox (same animal).

But there are some limitations and Owncloud is still hosted on own computer so, might give it a spin
