this makes a hug difference in the opening of and navigating speed of Firefox... thanks,

i've set my three entries to false... but what have y'all done with:

dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs;45

In Firefox you can type about:config in the address bar, it will throw a warning about dragons but just OK it.

It provides an interface to all sorts of under-the-hood settings. Here someone has filtered for dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs and then set the value to 45.

just went to check on this... and all dom.ipc entries in my Firefox 3.6.3 are now gone.. guess they got too much push back on the plugin container...
