yippee... chromium, midori, seamonkey and even guayadeque are all working now... vimeo.com still doesn't work, but i almost never need to use that anyway...

We can make Vimeo work too if you want ?

[EDIT]

Seems there is a bug in the gecko-mediaplayer for raring (and therefore Peppermint 4), but the version for the upcoming 14.04 works perfectly (I've been running it for a while now.

As you're using Peppermint 4 64bit download this file:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/p ... _amd64.deb

then double-click it to install it (it may warn an older version is in the repos but just say OK) .. once installed, close ALL web browser instances, and reopen Chrome/Seamonkey to test a Vimeo video.

Also fixes m3u and mov streaming

For future readers (and those on 32bit Peppermint 4), see my posting on page 2 of the original topic:

Midori is brand new to me as of @displayname's mention of it... I'll poke around a bit and see what I can find out... for all intents and purposes I consider this problem solved...

you Da Man! 8-)
