 Post subject: What is the terminal?

The terminal or sometimes called the console is the a application that allows you the user to make changes to your system, like installing new software, getting updates, and changing how your system acts. In Peppermint the terminal can be found by clicking on the menu button at the bottom left of the screen then look under the accessories tab and click on LXTerminal, thats it you have now found the terminal. A better way to get the terminal to open without having to go through all the menus is to press Ctrl+Alt+T and your terminal will open right up.
