Sometimes when you remove a package or program from your system it can leave behind what are known as dependences. Dependences are just other programs or files that are need to run another program and if you remove that program and no other program needs those same dependences then Peppermint will ask you to run auto-remove to get rid of them so they are not taking up space on your hard drive.

To run auto-remove type the following command in your terminal command line,

Code:
sudo apt autoremove

After you enter your password press enter and autoremove will take care of the rest.
