Chaps, am I correct in thinking that Pepp4 is a tad buggy? When I bring up “Desktop Preferences” and hit the “Advanced” tab and check the box for “show menus provided by the window manager when desktop is clicked” I don't get anything when I right click the desktop!

It works perfect in Pepp3 and I'd like to get to the “Openbox Configuration Manager” to select the “Mikachu” window theme, rather than make do with shades of grey! 50 shades of grey was enough when my girlfriend was reading the three books!

Don't suppose anyone knows where the “Openbox Configuration Manager” is apart from right clicking the desktop?

Thanks in advance chaps!

Hi lambousa, Peppermint OS Four's LXDE isn't built on OpenBox. Its built on Xfwm4. I have no idea why. I guess this is why you can't find the OpenBox Configuration Manager though :o !

P4 uses XFWM4 because it offers more features and function than openbox, while still being fairly small and simple. If you want openbox though, it is still available and easy to install.

As far as the grey goes in relation to window manager themes, there is very little change to notice. A WM theme will only change the borders around the windows and the title bars. If you want more color throughout apps and stuff, you need to change the GTK theme. That is under "customize look and feel."

You can try, http://gnome-look.org/ and search for GTK 2.x under the Artwork tab. I hope this help you find what you are looking for.
