I'm installing Peppermint on low specs PCs (In Argentina, like always, there are economic problems that difficults hardware update), first I run Peppermint in Live form, trying to find if all the hardware will be recognized.
I run PeppermintOS 4 on Intel Celeron, 256MB RAM, and every thing is OK, except that my "Realtek RTL8185 54M Wireless LAN" Adapter is not recognized.
Any tips?
Obviously, I searched in Google, but all post I finded are 5 years, or more, old; I don't know if they are recomendable considering all the kernel updates in that time.

I had this problem with realtek devices also my pcmcia card and wireless usb cards from realtek would not work in linux...
I do not know if they have drivers for them or not, that is something PCNetspec would probably know...
I solved the problem by going on ebay and buying 3 new PCMCIA devices for my 3 laptops that did not have wireless built in to them.... The TPLINK PCMCIA cards work under linux, their only problem with linux is there little connect lights don't function, but if you don't care about lights blinking on the device, they function perfectly.... cost is about 7 bucks each on ebay....

That's a pretty old card so there probably isn't anything new out there. Post the results for the following command...

Code:
lspci

EDIT: Disregard, tutucavoraz. Just saw THIS
