Hi rjm65

I don't think any of these commands you posted will help with this as your wireless card is neither PCI or USB, you could try installing pcmciautils
Code:
sudo apt-get install pcmciautils
then
Code:
lspcmcia
and see what the output is

Good luck

Graeme

After looking around the web it seems that there's no Linux native drivers for adapters with that ID string (11ab:1faa).

Your only option is to use ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper-gtk and load the Windows drivers .. see here:

Thank you for trying, but after looking at that page it seems it is much easier for me to pull the card out, and put the working card back in....
I was just hoping it could be used, I have 3 of them on the shelf, and it would have been nice to still use them...
but that page seems like it would take a long time to figure it out.... thanks again.... :)

That page goes into a lot of detail for manually adding the windows drivers through ndiswrapper.

There's a GUI front end for ndiswrapper that makes it VERY easy .. ndiswrapper-gtk

Let me know if you want help...
